To our dear friends and fam, we hope you are thriving and well. We have some exciting news to share with you all. That’s right, Seoul Sausage is back on Primetime Television this SUNDAY on June 6th at 6pm PST for The Great Food Truck Race (All Stars season) airing on @foodnetwork and streaming on @discovery+ That’s right, we’re back on the show that kick started it all for us!

Back in 2012 we won season 3 of the Great Food Truck Race which took us from Long Beach, California to Lubec, Maine in one of the most incredible journeys of our lifetime. Since then, there were 10 other seasons that passed (13 in all) and along the years our producers would hint at an “All Stars” season…A season where past winners would get together and battle each other to claim ultimate bragging rights. Funnily enough, during the pandemic era of all times we got the call. Where to for this season? San Francisco! They wanted Seoul Sausage to compete.

(A little backstory) Back in 2017 we decided to split ways with Chris, one of the 3 founders of Seoul Sausage. It was an amicable split, with me & Ted wanting to further grow the Seoul Sausage brand and Chris to pursue his own culinary endeavors.

(Fast forward to the present day) For the show we needed 3 members to compete. We needed someone who could hold their own in the kitchen, be comfortable in a truck and also have the same vision and vibe as Seoul Sausage. Enter…Han Hwang!

Han hails from Portland, Oregon and owns the behemoth @kimjonggrillin, a Bibimbox and Korean BBQ expert shop. We’ve done many dinners and events with Han, and we knew that we clicked in terms of chemistry. We gave him a call praying his schedule and interest would intersect.

Not only did he accept, but his energy is exactly what we needed.

America, you will fall in love with Han and this post is dedicated to him, our 3rd member of Seoul Sausage for the Great Food Truck Race - All Stars season! Check out Han, Ted & Yong THIS SUNDAY at 6pm and help us spread the love! Asian Americans represent!
